Recognized as one of the nation's most respected military figures, General Beaudette contributes over thirty years of exemplary service with significant roles in the U.S. Army Special Forces and the wider Joint Special Operations Forces community. His selection bolsters OHF's National Advisory Council as the group advances its nationwide efforts to aid wounded, ill, and injured Special Operations Forces service members, veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors.

General Beaudette's notable military path reached its peak as Commanding General of U.S. Army Special Operations Command, where he directed more than 33,000 Soldiers and civilians handling some of the country's most intricate and significant operations globally. Before that position, he held leadership roles at every tier of Army Special Operations and in multiple Joint assignments, guiding the development of America's Special Operations Forces and advising successive groups of military leaders.

Over his career, General Beaudette gained broad esteem throughout the Army, the Joint Force, and the larger military community for his operational command as well as his modesty, empathy, and sincere concern for service members and their families.

With his wife of 36 years, Liz, General Beaudette has continued as a dedicated supporter of wounded warriors, military families, caregivers, and Gold Star families.
