NFG SA (NFG), the main company within the NFG Group, has today revealed the launch of the NFG Step Forward Foundation (Step Forward), a fresh standalone charitable entity created to expand and organize the Group's long-standing giving programs.

From its start in 2017, the NFG Group has backed numerous charitable projects such as supporting schooling for disadvantaged young people, funding local community efforts, and delivering direct aid to people and households facing hardship. Forming Step Forward represents a key advancement in this dedication by bringing philanthropic work together under an independently run framework that boosts openness, responsibility, and enduring results.

Step Forward will function as a standalone channel that accepts gifts from NFG's related companies, clients, and outside contributors. It will also act as the main contact point for charities, local groups, and individuals looking for assistance.

The foundation's main aim centers on supporting disadvantaged youth by improving access to schooling, sports programs, medical care, and basic wellbeing supplies, while staying ready to back a broad array of charitable causes around the world.

To aid its start and guarantee quick operational readiness, NFG SA has pledged an opening gift of USD 1 million to the foundation.

Setting up an independent foundation allows us to direct support where it is needed most, keeping transparency and integrity central to our goals. We are eager to grow our reach and create real, lasting change in communities everywhere.

The foundation will be guided by an independent Board of Trustees, with Dr. Kathryn Devos and Cecilia Rague-Kaisha acting as Ambassadors. They will receive support from Shaunte Stapleton (Corporate Manager) and Troylin Evelyn (Secretary). Additional trustees will be named as the foundation develops.

The launch of Step Forward continues NFG's current charitable partnerships. In a recent effort, NFG SA aided the Lenivan Foundation's yearly drive that supplied school shoes to children in Kenya, helping distribute more than 300 pairs and advancing wider educational and community projects across Africa.

NFG welcomes its clients, partners, and the broader community to join this effort through donations, strategic partnerships, and suggestions of worthy causes and groups in need.
