Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Powdered Infant Formula has been voluntarily recalled due to connections with a multistate outbreak of infant botulism.

Concord, NH - The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Public Health (DPH) urges parents and caregivers to stop using Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Powdered Infant Formula. The firm initiated a voluntary recall of these items tied to a multistate outbreak of infant botulism. No cases of illness linked to this recall have been noted in New Hampshire at this time.

Nara Organics Powdered Infant Formula reached stores and online platforms nationwide including Target retail locations, Target.com, and Nara.com from July 2025 to June 2026.

"Botulism represents a serious health risk and anyone who bought this product must watch their child's condition carefully and get medical help if symptoms develop," said DPH Director Iain Watt. "Avoid all recalled baby formula and dispose of it right away."

Infant botulism develops after a baby ingests spores from Clostridium botulinum bacteria that then grow and release toxins in the large intestine. Early indicators can include constipation, trouble with feeding such as sucking or swallowing, a faint or changed cry, and muscle weakness that may lead to paralysis or breathing problems. Parents should contact their infant's healthcare provider at once if any of these signs appear.
