New partnership expands support for professional women's sports, Kansas City families and educators through fan engagement, community programming and Teacher Appreciation Night

Mainstreet Credit Union, a community credit union serving members for nearly 75 years, and the KC Diamonds, Kansas City's newest professional sports team, have formed a partnership to boost local families and women's athletics while generating lasting community benefits beyond each game.

As the Official Credit Union of the KC Diamonds, Mainstreet Credit Union connects its member-first approach with the city's newest professional women's sports franchise. This strengthens ties with fans throughout the region and backs the team's first season. The KC Diamonds compete as Kansas City's professional women's fastpitch team in the Professional Softball League, delivering top athletes, lively entertainment and fresh visibility for women's sports at Legends Field.

The partnership features season-long brand visibility via stationary and digital signage at every Diamonds home game. Mainstreet Credit Union will also run activations at the ballpark all season long, offering engaging experiences for fans and members.

Teacher Appreciation

A highlight of the collaboration is Mainstreet Teacher Appreciation Night, an annual KC Diamonds game honoring teachers, schools and education across the region. Teachers form the foundational legacy of Mainstreet, as a small group of educators launched the credit union more than 70 years ago. Mainstreet will donate 500 tickets to Kansas City area schools so teachers and students can attend a KC Diamonds game.

Mainstreet will further support educators all season through a Teacher of the Game program that recognizes a local teacher at each of the Diamonds' 21 home games, along with post-game recognition highlighting the honoree and school district.
