Lahn, a businessman and ex-state legislator, bested U.S. Congressman Randy Feenstra in one of the tightest primaries in recent Iowa history. With 98% of the projected vote tallied, Lahn edged Feenstra 37.8% to 37%. Congressman Feenstra conceded Tuesday night.

Iowa's Republican primary rules mandate a candidate secure at least 35% of the vote to bypass a state nominating convention. With five candidates on the ballot and a divided field, the race was broadly anticipated to reach a convention. Lahn surpassed the threshold and prevailed outright. Former state government official Adam Steen placed a distant third with roughly 15%.

MAHA PAC's final-phase push backing Lahn featured four rounds of MMS text messages reaching about 350,000 Iowan GOP likely voters, Election Day ringless voicemails to over 83,000 cell phones, 40,500 live get-out-the-vote phone calls, three rounds of robocalls to more than 36,000 landlines, and statewide video advertising highlighting the contrast between Lahn's MAHA platform and Feenstra's history of accepting donations from Pfizer, the drug industry, the insurance lobby, and out-of-state political action committees.

Lahn's victory signals growing grassroots energy behind the Make America Healthy Again movement led nationally by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and aimed at restoring public confidence in health agencies, reducing chronic illness, shielding children from environmental hazards, and increasing openness and responsibility across food, agriculture, and healthcare.
