Coalition unites the chiropractic profession behind bipartisan Medicare modernization legislation and a coordinated agenda

MAHA Center Inc. and MAHA Action Inc. are teaming up to introduce the MAHA Chiropractic Hub, a nationwide partnership that brings together MAHA Center, MAHA Action, and the chiropractic community. This includes national groups, state entities, practitioners, educators, researchers, and patient supporters. The Hub aims to drive federal policy changes, improve patient access, and foster widespread public backing for chiropractic services throughout the country.

The effort targets support for children, service members, veterans, older adults, and families pursuing non-drug, non-surgical health options.

Chiropractic serves as a vital, research-supported, prevention-oriented element of a viable U.S. healthcare framework, rather than merely an alternative option.

After a gathering of chiropractic leaders in Washington, D.C. last March, the Hub established its core priorities. Talks centered on creating a unified national plan to broaden access to chiropractic services, enhance federal acknowledgment of the profession, promote Medicare updates, and improve integration into military, veteran, and public health structures.

The Chiropractic Hub functions through four main areas: education and media outreach, research and access growth, coalition development, and federal advocacy via MAHA Action's 501(c)(4) branch. The Hub will advance the following four aligned initiatives in 2026.

National PR and education campaign: Focus on generating public, policy, and professional endorsement for chiropractic as a reliable, reachable, prevention-centered practice aligned with MAHA goals.
Medicare and federal recognition: Work to progress the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act in the 119th Congress and push for complete rollout of Section 2706 of the Affordable Care Act, providing Medicare and privately insured individuals expanded access to chiropractic services.
Military integration: Collaborate with the Defense Health Agency and Army Medical Research to incorporate chiropractic care into military health frameworks and among active-duty members, helping lower early service departures and supplying a non-surgical option for musculoskeletal issues.
Department of Veterans Affairs: Engage the VA Secretary to release a national directive broadening chiropractic availability for veterans and dependents. This seeks to cut long wait periods, reduce limitations, and include more providers in the Community Care Program network.

Substantial evidence backs chiropractic's place in American healthcare. Fundamentally, it adopts a full-body perspective on wellness: the nervous system governs all bodily functions, spinal adjustments correct misalignments to aid natural healing, and treatment targets root causes over symptom management alone.

In areas like spine and pain management, where research is strongest, individuals consulting chiropractors for back pain show notably reduced likelihood of opioid prescriptions and incur far lower overall treatment expenses. In workers' compensation scenarios, surgery rates drop to just 1.5 percent when chiropractic care starts first, versus 42.7 percent when beginning with a surgeon. Even so, federal funding for chiropractic remains minimal compared to similar fields, with access hurdles continuing in Medicare, VA systems, military health services, and private insurance.
