Fleet telematics and cargo tracking continue to expand rapidly as transportation and logistics firms seek improved visibility, safety, compliance, and efficiency. According to Berg Insight, fleet management systems in active use in North America are projected to rise from 19.2 million units at the close of 2024 to 33.2 million units by 2029. Berg Insight further anticipates that the worldwide installed base of tracking devices for trailers, containers, and other cargo units will increase from 13.8 million units in 2024 to 26.9 million units by 2029.

In these sectors, antenna performance exceeds a mere technical detail. Connected devices must operate across networks, frequency ranges, regions, and challenging environments, frequently within limited space on vehicles or mobile assets.
