More than 300 community leaders, donors, families, and supporters gathered at the Earl B. Hadlow Campus to mark the launch of this new facility. It represents the first pediatric hospice and palliative care center of its kind in Florida and one of only a few in the United States.

The center, named in honor of Dottie Dorion and the Dorion family for their enduring dedication, will house Community PēdsCare. It delivers a welcoming, child-focused setting that promotes comfort, dignity, play, and family bonds for children with serious illnesses.

Generous gifts from donors and community partners made the center possible, reflecting a shared vision for compassionate pediatric services.

"This space will create lasting impact by uniting resources and support in one location."

The center strengthens the Community PēdsCare program by offering a single site for therapy services, caregiver assistance, emotional and spiritual care, and peer connections. It also reduces travel demands, allowing clinicians to focus more time on direct patient and family support.

At its heart, pediatric hospice and palliative care helps children live fully while providing families with compassionate guidance throughout their journey.
