Family-Owned Home Improvement Firm Strengthens Community Ties with Direct Aid to the Founding Chapter of the National Nonprofit in Twin Falls

On Saturday, May 2, the DaBella Twin Falls team teamed up with hundreds of volunteers at the CSI Expo Center to address the problem directly. Partnering with fellow residents and local companies, they cut lumber, sanded materials, and constructed bed frames throughout the day. The completed beds will go to nearby families, fitted with fresh mattresses and bedding to provide Magic Valley children with secure places to sleep.

Where the Mission Began

The occasion carried extra weight for the Twin Falls crew. Sleep in Heavenly Peace originated in Twin Falls in 2012, founded by Luke and Heidi Mickelson. From an initial effort for one local family, it has evolved into a nationwide effort with over 300 chapters, all rallied around the motto: "No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town."

Engaging with the nonprofit's home chapter enabled the DaBella team to bolster a cause born locally yet resonating across the nation.
