The benchmark updates monthly and combines futures prices from Grains, Oilseeds, Livestock, Dairy and Lumber. These elements enable thorough monitoring of supply chain evolutions, evolving industrial needs and shifts in consumer preferences affecting farm product expenses globally.

This Agriculture Index works alongside the Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer, which offers a monthly national assessment based on input from 400 producers regarding their views and forecasts for the farming sector.
