Charity dinner tickets have sold out completely with philanthropists Jerry Lee and Charlene Lee scheduled for induction into the Hall of Fame

/PRNewswire/ -- The multicultural exchange platform Asian Hall of Fame (AHOF) announces the Founders Banquet scheduled for August 14 2026 at the Washington Athletic Club. This formal charity dinner will raise scholarship funds for women in technology entertainment science and sports programs. Former US Ambassador to China and Washington State Governor Gary Locke will deliver the welcome address. Inductees Hiro Yamamoto of Soundgarden classical music artist Maki Mae and Derek Chinn will join Ed Roth the 2021 goodwill ambassador as music performance guests. Emmy Award winner and KOMO News anchor Molly Shen will serve as ceremony host.

The pre-red carpet event begins at 4:30 pm and features the signature AHOF St. John apparel section Louis Vuitton handbag gift baskets and a pop-up boutique. Inductee Kristen Lui will create customized Build-A-Box gift sets using Chanel Hermes Louis Vuitton Dior and Cartier items. Red carpet ambassadors include Natalie Worthy 2026 Miss Washington Amber Pike 2025 Miss Washington Maricres MarMar Castro 2021 Miss International Washington representative and Amanda Hoang 2023 Miss Bellevue America representative.

The dinner program runs from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and highlights the induction ceremony for Seattle philanthropists Jerry Lee and his wife Charlene Lee introduced by Omar Lee and Christine Lee. Jerry Lee is a founding member of the AHOF founding committee. AHOF established in 2004 later became a nonprofit and relocated to Los Angeles. The organization has generated over four million dollars in community impact and created 2054 job opportunities grants and scholarships for individuals from diverse ethnic and neurodiverse backgrounds.

Port Commissioner Sam Cho a 2023 inductee will present Sapphire Awards to Jon Bridge Bobbe Bridge and Mike Flood representing the Seattle Seahawks. Global Council founder Mary Knell will honor key contributors to the Robert Chinn Foundation including Karen Wong a 2022 inductee Letitia Fong Aaron Olson Taylor Safstrom and her Boeing-employed husband Kevin Safstrom.

Guests will receive commemorative stamp albums raffle tickets and a memoir from Soundgarden member and inductee Kim Thayil. The charity event receives support from title sponsors Melinda Rogers TAO Wells Fargo Omar Lee Christine Lee and Gobo Enterprises. AHOF raises funds without on-site auctions paddle raises or Dessert Dash competitions.
