Anoma Cancer Collective launches a national initiative to restore independence, ease financial strains, foster local philanthropy, and preserve cancer services near patients' homes

Via a nonprofit framework backed by tax-exempt bond financing, member centers obtain capital, operational systems, and collective knowledge. The bond structure aims to reduce financial pressures on dedicated physicians while fortifying practices for coming years. It opens routes for upgrades to facilities, technology, staffing, and innovations such as theranostics, enabling more advanced care locally.

ACC receives backing from institutional investors Baird Advisors and Capital Research and Management Company, both prior participants in the AIOF financing, along with new partner First Eagle Investment Management, LLC. Loop Capital Markets acted as underwriter once more, extending its involvement from the earlier Alaska transaction.

Operational assistance comes from Radiation Business Solutions, offering centralized functions to boost efficiency, enhance results, and lessen administrative loads. This aid serves one purpose: freeing physicians to focus on medicine with the independence, intent, and patient emphasis that originally attracted them to oncology. RBS has directed over $300 million in municipal bonds to radiation centers in the past three years.
