The five-day gathering drew more than 17,000 Lions members representing over 140 nations and territories worldwide. Serving as a premier international forum, the event allowed community leaders to exchange views on regional priorities and advancements in charitable work, underscoring the organization's guiding principle of We Serve while highlighting unity and dedication among participants.

The program offered varied sessions including forums and knowledge-sharing workshops alongside hands-on community projects such as visits to elderly residents living alone, neighborhood outreach programs, and educational efforts on foot health. Immersive presentations gave international attendees a distinctive glimpse into Chinese heritage, encouraging greater cross-cultural understanding.

The convention also achieved a fresh world record as 4,000 Lions from six continents performed Tai Chi together, establishing a new Tai Chi SDG milestone. This traditional practice promoting equilibrium and wellness advanced United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 10.2 by championing inclusion across age, gender, ability, ethnicity, background, faith, and economic status, blending the Lions service ethos with global sustainability aims.
