The media company of US President Donald Trump, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), revealed on Thursday plans for a fee-based service that offers financial institutions immediate access to content from various top Truth Social accounts.

Trump stands as Truth Social’s most recognized user and holds the largest stake in its listed parent entity.

It serves as his primary platform for significant declarations - yet offering accelerated access prompts new concerns regarding Trump profiting from his presidential role.

TMTG omitted details on the specific accounts or verification that Trump’s content would be part of it. Still, it characterized the material as the site’s “most market-moving Truths” and noted that “markets already move on Truth Social posts”.

The firm also avoided stating whether subscribers would get posts prior to their public release on Truth Social.

The company indicated the service would transmit posts to users “in milliseconds”, removing the requirement for manual oversight.

TMTG explained that Truth API, the new service, would deliver a direct, machine-readable stream targeted at high-frequency and algorithmic trading entities that depend on swift receipt of market-relevant data.

An API - short for application programming interface - enables interaction between distinct computer programs, potentially facilitating quicker automated tracking of Trump's posts. Comparable features exist on other platforms such as X.

Institutional clients might leverage the feed to react faster to data impacting stocks, bonds, and interest rates.

Truth API is slated to begin on 1 August 2026. The company noted that customers had already registered prior to launch and it is currently integrating more partners.

The service is anticipated to run nonstop, around the clock, and will feature an archive of posts from 2022 onward.
