Rabitabank OJSC has obtained USD 7 million in financing via a partnership with international investment firm Enabling Qapital. This capital targets expanded credit options for micro, small and medium enterprises across Azerbaijan.

The resources aim to meet funding demands of micro and SME operators, encourage their lasting expansion, and advance productive sector activity along with wider economic momentum.

Through this facility, micro and small firms gain improved credit access to cover working capital and investment needs while spurring fresh business ideas and job creation. The funds will also enable business scaling, higher output capacity, and new investment projects. To limit foreign exchange exposure for the bank and borrowers, the amounts will be disbursed in Azerbaijani manat using a hedging arrangement arranged with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Chairman of the Management Board Mr. Aydin Huseynov observed that the agreement aligns with Entrepreneurs Day, marked each April 25 under presidential decree. He noted its value in widening finance access for micro, small and medium firms and in supporting employment. Backing these businesses drives inclusive growth, regional commercial activity and fresh job prospects, making the facility a key achievement for the bank and a strategic contribution to Azerbaijans real economy.

The arrangement with Enabling Qapital, a FINMA regulated Swiss impact asset manager, strengthens Rabitabanks reputation among global investors and highlights its focus on sustainable responsible finance.

For Rabitabank the deal advances ties with international financial institutions, draws external resources into the real economy and further aids entrepreneurship financing.
