Shimon Gershon, one-time captain of Israel's national soccer squad and active businessman, has launched a fintech venture named Arvuyot Yashir that targets the rental housing market. The service lets tenants secure a guarantee without placing any deposit through a swift digital process completed online in roughly five minutes. The company secured NIS 12 million in funding to support its rollout.

The platform replaces conventional bank guarantees and cash deposits that often force renters to tie up large sums or hand money directly to landlords. Tenants keep their cash free at lease start while owners receive solid financial coverage equal to three months of rent. Renters also avoid paying steep bank fees that usually apply to such instruments.

Take a renter needing a NIS 15,000 guarantee, typically equal to three months of rent. Through Arvuyot Yashir the tenant obtains coverage without any deposit or credit impact for NIS 81 monthly over twelve months. The overall fee equals 6.5 percent of the guaranteed sum, leaving cash available for moving costs, apartment setup and other early expenses.

Users receive a complete guarantee in about five minutes via proprietary technology built by the firm. The fully online flow relies on digital checks: the tenant supplies personal information, uploads ID documents and enters property details. After automated financial screening and data validation, and absent any red flags, the guarantee is issued straight to the owner, management company and tenant in a secure end-to-end flow free of banks or manual steps.

Compared with older guarantee models that involve lengthy reviews, branch visits and intermediaries, the platform reaches a decision in minutes. Tenants retain liquidity without frozen funds while landlords obtain verified digital backing from a financial provider equipped for large-scale operations, speeding lease finalization with greater certainty.

Arvuyot Yashir already partners with major real estate firms such as Mivne Real Estate, Rent It and City Boy, supplying deposit-free guarantees for long-term projects through its advanced management and underwriting tools. The company is also advancing a broad tie-up with Phoenix Smart that will offer tenants moving-related insurance products including contents and liability coverage plus relocation loans, adding further protection layers at scale.
