The Rolling Stones have performed for decades without calls to skip cities, he said, and athletes deserve the same consideration.

James added that players who stay committed and help grow the game should be allowed to continue if they choose.

He described his approach as giving full effort while still generating interest and revenue, and he wants to extend that experience as long as possible.

His remarks arrive shortly after he entered free agency following eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, signaling he is not prepared to slow his pace while his next destination stays undecided.

His agent, Rich Paul, stated that no rushed timeline exists and that the decision rests entirely with James.
