In Marrakesh, Soviet-era motorcycle sidecars offered unique perspectives, though age limits sometimes require adjustments when necessary.

Plans center on the specific interests of the teens

Teens drawn to social activities benefit from resorts featuring dedicated clubs, such as Grand Velas in Riviera Maya, select Club Med properties, or Beaches in Turks and Caicos. These settings often allow them to form connections and pursue independent fun with peers. For those less inclined toward organized groups, forcing participation creates unnecessary discomfort.

Participating in engaging local workshops

Cooking classes have become a regular feature of our trips. In Santa Fe we prepared regional sauces while gaining insights into indigenous traditions and local flavors. Bogota sessions taught us to create plantain dishes that the teens now recreate and compare to their experiences abroad. A private home in Fez provided instruction for a complete multi-course meal. Since cooking appeals to our family, these sessions serve as lasting reminders of each place.
