Observers on Reddit and other platforms have noted more examples of this approach. Listings for motorcycles show AI-created women seated on the bikes. Other posts feature groups of similarly dressed figures reclining on a 2010 Mercedes or perched on a worn hot tub.

One heavy-equipment listing included an AI woman in swimwear atop rusty machinery. These images often display typical AI traits such as distorted proportions and unrealistic appearances.

Attracting buyers with appealing figures has long been common in vehicle sales. The use of AI to create those figures on Marketplace, however, represents a newer development.

Marketplace photos usually appear casual and unpolished because they come from ordinary sellers. Highly polished images can signal to buyers that the price may be elevated.

Llamas mentioned the source video recommended generating a larger body type to spark curiosity. The obvious artificial quality is part of the intended effect, meant to prompt reactions like wondering whether the person is real.

Some listings extend the tactic beyond people. One example showed an AI sumo wrestler standing on a toolbox to highlight drawer strength while grabbing attention.

Extra views do not always lead to sales. Llamas reported increased clicks on his Jeep post, yet many messages asked whether the woman was included or real, while others offered criticism about appearance. Few inquiries focused on the vehicle itself.

The Jeep listing has remained active for 19 weeks.
